Ingredients
- 1 pear (peeled and cut into small cubes)
- 8 g vanilla protein powder (can substitute with 1-2 tsp cornstarch)
- 1.25 tsp cinnamon (1 to 1.5 tsp)
- 8 g sugar substitute (for the pear base)
- 35 g light cottage cheese
- 25 g all-purpose flour
- 10 g sugar substitute (for the crumble topping)
- 8 g half-fat butter (room temperature)
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- 2
Peel the pear and cut it into small cubes.
- 3
Place the pear cubes in a small oven-safe dish and sprinkle the protein powder (or cornstarch), cinnamon, and 8g of sugar substitute over them.
- 4
Toss the pear mixture well until the cubes are evenly coated.
- 5
In a separate small bowl, combine the cottage cheese, flour, 10g of sugar substitute, and the butter.
- 6
Knead the mixture with a spoon or your fingers until it forms a crumbly dough. If it sticks together too much, simply pull it apart into smaller crumbs.
- 7
Scatter the crumble dough over the pear mixture in the baking dish.
- 8
Bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden brown and the pear filling is soft and bubbling.
- 9
Serve warm, optionally with a dollop of quark, whipped cream, or low-calorie ice cream.
