Quark ‘Cheese’cake

Ingredients
- 200 g low-fat quark (any flavor can be used)
- 1 egg (size M)
- 20 g instant vanilla pudding powder (such as kloppudding)
- vanilla (optional; a little for extra flavor)
- 1 tbsp sugar substitute (optional; for extra sweetness)

Preheat your oven to 160°C (320°F).

In a mixing bowl, combine 200g of low-fat quark, one medium egg, and 20g of vanilla pudding powder.

If desired, add a little vanilla or 1 tablespoon of sugar substitute for extra sweetness and mix until smooth.

Pour the mixture into a 15 cm cake tin.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let the cake cool completely on a wire rack.

Once cooled, pat the surface dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.

Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow it to firm up.
Notes
If you want to use powdered sugar as a topping, wait to sprinkle it on until just before serving. The macros for the entire cake are approximately 249 kcal, 27g carbs, 20g protein, and 6g fat.
