Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the SeeMeCook app and services provided by Crescent Mission LLC.

Acceptance of Terms

By using SeeMeCook, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Account

You must sign in with a Google or Apple account to use SeeMeCook. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

Subscriptions

• SeeMeCook offers a free trial with limited imports. After the trial, a Pro subscription is required for continued imports.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the API
• Upload malicious content or attempt to compromise the service
• Scrape or bulk-download recipes in violation of third-party rights
• Import or share content you do not have the right to import or share

Content Ownership

• You retain ownership of the content you create.
• For content that is published to the public Explore feed — which includes recipes you import from a public source (these are published automatically) and any recipe, cook photo, comment, or star rating you choose to make public — you grant Crescent Mission LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, publish, publicly display, distribute, and make that content available to other users and to visitors of our public web pages, for the purpose of operating and promoting the SeeMeCook service.
• For private content — recipes you photograph, upload, write, or otherwise create in the app, and your personal data — you grant us only a limited license to process and store it in order to provide the service to you.
• Recipes and other material extracted from third-party websites remain subject to their owners' copyrights. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import, use, and share any content you bring into the service.

Public Content and Visibility

How public content works on SeeMeCook:

• Recipes you import from a public web page or social link are automatically published to the Explore feed and given a public web page, credited to you with your display name and profile photo.
• Recipes you create yourself are private. You may choose to share them to Explore, and you may unshare them again from within the app.
• You can delete a recipe from your library at any time. To have specific public content removed, or to report content, contact us at talal+seemecooksupport@crescentmission.com. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable law.

AI-Generated Content

SeeMeCook uses AI to extract and format recipe data. AI output may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing extracted recipes for accuracy.

Service Availability

We strive to keep SeeMeCook available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

Limitation of Liability

SeeMeCook is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crescent Mission LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Crescent Mission LLC is organized and by the applicable laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Dispute Resolution

Before bringing any claim, you agree to contact us at talal+seemecooksupport@crescentmission.com and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least 30 days. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the state whose laws govern these terms, and you and Crescent Mission LLC consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Nothing in this section prevents either party from bringing a qualifying claim in a small-claims court.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from Settings. When you delete your account, your private content and personal data are deleted as described in our Privacy Policy. Content you contributed to the public Explore feed — recipes imported from public sources, and comments or cook photos you posted publicly — remains part of the community library with your name and profile removed, and the license you granted for that content continues for as long as it remains published. You may contact us to request removal of specific public content.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
