Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 1.41 kg before cooking, which is about 235 g per serving.
Steps
Blend the chipotle peppers, 2 tsp adobo sauce, ¼ large onion, garlic, and ½ cup water until smooth.
Season the cubed steak with the remaining 2 tsp adobo sauce, smoked paprika, ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp bouillon powder, and garlic paste to taste.
Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the seasoned steak until done. Set it aside.
In the same pan, sauté the diced ¼ large onion and diced red bell pepper for 1–2 minutes, keeping them slightly crisp. Set aside.
Add the blended chipotle sauce to a pot and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Add the basmati rice, cumin, oregano, curry powder, thyme, salt to taste, and bouillon powder to taste. Stir well to combine.
Add enough water to cook the rice, accounting for the ½ cup already in the chipotle sauce. Cover and cook until the rice is tender; the source does not specify a cooking duration.
Fluff the cooked rice, then gently mix in the cooked steak, onion, and red bell pepper.
Serve with a sauce of your choice.
Notes
The source does not specify the quantity of water needed beyond the initial ½ cup, a rice-cooking duration, or what sauce to serve alongside.
