Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 1.18 kg before cooking, which is about 195 g per serving.
Steps
In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, salt, chicken bouillon powder, thyme, curry powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, chili powder, and melted butter to make the marinade.
Add the water gradually, stirring until the marinade is smooth and slightly thick.
Add the cleaned chicken thighs and coat each piece evenly with the marinade.
Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 hour.
Preheat the air fryer to 320°F (160 °C)–350°F (180 °C) (160°C (325 °F)–177°C (350 °F)).
Arrange the sliced onion in a single layer in the air-fryer basket, then place the marinated chicken on top.
Air-fry for 30–35 minutes, flipping the chicken every 10 minutes to cook evenly and prevent burning. Cook until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74 °C) (74°C (165 °F)).
Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Total time includes approximately 30–60 minutes of marinating. The source gives an air-fryer temperature range of 320°F–350°F (160°C–177°C).
