Ingredients

  • 12 tsp Cranberry sauce
  • 180 g Brie
  • Pecans (A handful, chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Fresh rosemary (Chopped)
  • Egg wash (For brushing the pastry edges; amount unspecified)
  • 320 g Puff pastry (Jus-Rol brand)
  • Butter (For heavily buttering the muffin tray; amount unspecified)
  • Salt (To taste)
  • Black pepper (To taste)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F). Prepare a muffin tray by heavily buttering it, lining it with baking paper, or using a silicone muffin tray so the pastry bites will not stick.

  2. 2

Cut the puff pastry sheet into 12 squares and place one square in each prepared muffin-tray cavity.

  3. 3

Spoon 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce into each pastry square. Add a chunk of Brie to each, then top with chopped pecans and rosemary. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

Lightly brush the exposed pastry edges with egg wash.

  5. 5

Bake for about 15 minutes, until the Brie is melted and the pastry is crisp all the way around, including on the bottom. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

The source does not specify the quantity of pecans, egg wash, butter, salt, or pepper; add these to taste/as needed.
