Easy Upside-Down Peach Tart

Ingredients
- Honey (to coat the bottom of the dish)
- 1 stick Butter (cut into six pieces)
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar (about one tablespoon)
- Salt (a pinch)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon (one teaspoon)
- 5 Peaches (sliced)
- 1 sheet Puff pastry (one sheet of pastry)
- 1 Egg wash (one egg beaten with a little water or milk)
Steps

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Spread a layer of honey on a baking sheet or in a dish.

Place the six pieces of butter on the honey.

Evenly sprinkle the brown sugar, pinch of salt, and cinnamon over the butter.

Arrange the peach slices over the butter and spice mixture.

Cover the peaches with the sheet of puff pastry, tucking the edges in slightly.

Brush the top of the pastry with the egg wash.

Bake for 20 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and carefully flip the tart onto a serving platter while it is still warm.
Notes
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a perfect contrast.
