Ingredients
- 2 Chicken breasts (Boneless and skinless; approximately 180–225 g each)
- 2 tbsp Olive oil (For the marinade and cooking)
- 3 dientes Garlic (Finely chopped or crushed)
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice (Freshly squeezed)
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 0.5 tsp Dried oregano
- Salt (To taste)
- Black pepper (To taste)
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley (Chopped, for finishing)
Steps
- 1
Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board and, if they are uneven in thickness, gently pound them until they are uniformly thick. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, sweet paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper until a marinade forms.
- 3
Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them completely with the marinade. Let them rest for at least 10 minutes; if you have time, refrigerate them for up to 2 hours to intensify the flavor.
- 4
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the chicken breasts in the skillet and pour any remaining marinade over them.
- 5
Cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes on the first side, without moving it too much, until well browned. Turn it over and cook for another 5–7 minutes, until the center reaches 74 °C and the juices run clear.
- 6
Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes so it retains its juices. Sprinkle with fresh parsley, slice, and serve hot.
