Ingredients
- 250 g Cassava starch (Yucarina or cassava flour may also be used.)
- 2 tazas Fresh cheese (Use one stretchy variety, such as mozzarella, and another similar to campesino cheese, such as panela or cotija. The amount of each variety is not specified.)
- 1 taza Parmesan cheese (Queso costeño may also be used.)
- 2 Eggs
- 50 ml Milk (Add more if the dough is difficult to shape.)
- 1 cucharada Butter (Melted.)
- Sugar (A little, optional, to taste if you prefer them sweeter.)
- Grease for greasing the pan (The transcription indicates that the pan should be greased but does not specify which type of fat to use.)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
- 2
Melt the butter.
- 3
Mix the eggs with the cassava starch, cheeses, milk, and melted butter. Add a little sugar if you prefer a sweeter result.
- 4
If the dough is difficult to shape, add more milk. Shape into firm but soft balls.
- 5
Grease a pan and place the balls in it.
- 6
Bake at 180 °C for 10–12 minutes.
- 7
Serve the pandebonos freshly baked.
Notes
The transcription also offers an alternative: cook them in an air fryer at 180 °C for 12 minutes. The amounts of mozzarella and the other fresh cheese are not specified separately, nor is the type of fat for greasing the pan.
