Ingredients
- 100 g Dark chocolate (Melted)
- 25 g Puffed quinoa
- 1 tsp Peanut butter (About 5 g)
- Salt (A pinch, about 0.3 g)
Steps
- 1
Gently melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave in short intervals, stirring between each interval until smooth. Let it cool slightly to prevent the quinoa from losing its crispness.
- 2
Add the puffed quinoa, peanut butter, and a pinch of salt to the melted chocolate.
- 3
Stir carefully until the quinoa and peanut butter are evenly distributed throughout the chocolate.
- 4
Scoop out the mixture by the spoonful and shape it into 4 small Crispy Snickers, arranging them on parchment paper or on a lined plate.
- 5
Transfer the treats to the freezer and let them set for 5 minutes, until the chocolate is firm.
Notes
The original recipe instructs you to mix all the ingredients, shape the treats, and let them set in the freezer for 5 minutes. Store the Crispy Snickers in the refrigerator or freezer in a sealed container. Melting the chocolate is a necessary technical clarification to allow the ingredients to be combined.
