- 1 Red bell pepper (Cut into rings; remove the small inner sections.)
- 1 Green bell pepper (Cut into rings; remove the small inner sections.)
- Olive oil (A little for cooking the mushrooms, then a drizzle for frying the peppers; quantity unspecified.)
- Chives (To taste; quantity unspecified.)
- Parsley (To taste in the mushrooms, then a little more in the filling; quantities unspecified.)
- 200 g Mushrooms (Chopped.)
- 1 tsp Salt (For the mushrooms.)
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper (For the mushrooms.)
- 1 tsp Thyme (For the mushrooms.)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder (For the mushrooms.)
- 100 g Grated Parmesan
- 300 g Chicken breast (Cut into small pieces.)
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Salt (For the filling.)
- 1 cup Wheat flour (The transcript says “one cup”; mix into the filling.)
Steps
- 1
Cut the yellow bell pepper into even rings. Cut the red bell pepper, then the green bell pepper, in the same way. Remove the small sections from inside the rings.
- 2
Pour a little olive oil into a skillet. Add chives to taste, parsley to taste and the chopped mushrooms. Stir.
- 3
Add 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp black pepper, 1 tsp thyme and 1 tsp garlic powder. Stir again to combine the seasonings well.
- 4
Transfer the mushroom mixture to a mixing bowl to continue preparing the filling.
- 5
Add the grated Parmesan, a little more parsley, the chicken pieces, the egg and 1 tsp salt. Mix until the filling is uniform.
- 6
Add the cup of wheat flour and stir to incorporate it into the filling.
- 7
Drizzle olive oil into the skillet. Place the bell pepper rings in the skillet to fry them.
- 8
Fill each bell pepper ring with the prepared filling.
- 9
Turn the peppers over to brown both sides. Judge by their color: they should be well browned.
- 10
Once fried and well browned, remove the excess oil and arrange the peppers on a plate to serve.
Notes
The video does not specify the quantities of olive oil, chives or parsley, or the cooking time. The transcript indicates one cup of flour without specifying its volume; a standard measurement is estimated for the nutritional values.
