- 1 Sweet onion (Sliced into rings)
- 1 Egg (Large)
- 40 g Egg whites
- 40 g All-purpose flour
- Salt (To taste)
- Black pepper (To taste)
- Garlic powder (To taste)
- Paprika (To taste)
- 40 g Panko breadcrumbs

Cut the sweet onions into uniform-sized rings.

In a small bowl, whisk the whole egg with the egg whites until well combined.

In a second bowl, mix the flour with the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Place the Panko breadcrumbs in a third separate bowl.

Dip each onion ring first into the egg mixture.

Coat the ring in the seasoned flour mixture, ensuring it is well covered.

Dip the ring back into the egg mixture.

Finally, coat the ring in the Panko breadcrumbs, pressing lightly so they adhere well.

Place the rings in the air fryer basket and cook at 350°F (175°C) for 12 to 15 minutes.

Notes
For best results, do not overcrowd the rings in the air fryer; cook in batches if necessary to ensure they become crispy.
