Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 1.12 kg before cooking, which is about 30 g per serving.
Steps
Make sure the mixing bowl and whisk are completely dry. Use a very large bowl; wear a mask while mixing if you are sensitive to the powder dust.
Add the ingredients to the bowl one at a time, whisking very well after each addition so the powders are evenly distributed.
After all the ingredients are incorporated, give the mix one thorough final whisk.
Transfer the mix to a clean, dry, airtight container, secure the lid, and shake it well to combine.
Let the mix sit overnight if possible. If you are packaging it as gifts, shake it once more before dividing it into smaller jars.
Before making a mug, stir or shake the mix. Fill a mug with 1 cup (8 oz) of very hot water.
Stir 3–6 teaspoons of the mix into the hot water until completely dissolved. Taste and adjust the amount of mix to your liking, then enjoy.
Notes
Use the specified brands, as other brands may contain added ingredients that affect the result. Keep the bowl, whisk, and scooping spoon dry to prevent moisture from getting into the mix. Letting the mix sit overnight is optional; the author says it allows the flavors to mingle and become more balanced. The exact packet weight is stated as 0.23 oz; its gram estimate is rounded.
