Ingredients
- 2 honey wheat bread (Nature's Own Life Honey Wheat recommended)
- 0.75 cup egg whites
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- sweetener (a dash)
- 2 tbsp Protein Brownie Batter (prepared protein brownie batter)
- 0.33 cup blueberries (fresh)
Steps
- 1
Preheat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat.
- 2
In a shallow bowl, mix together the egg whites, cocoa powder, cinnamon, and a dash of sweetener until well combined.
- 3
Dunk each slice of bread into the egg white mixture. Let the bread sit for a moment to absorb as much of the liquid as possible, flipping a few times to ensure it is fully saturated.
- 4
Place the soaked bread onto the preheated pan. Cook until the bottom has set, then flip.
- 5
Continue flipping occasionally until the bread is golden brown and has puffed up slightly from the egg whites.
- 6
Remove from the pan and top with 2 tablespoons of protein brownie batter and 1/3 cup of blueberries.
