Ingredients
- 4 oz Salmon (Uncooked weight; cubed. Creator recommends Trader Joe’s wild-caught Atlantic salmon.)
- Garlic powder (To season the salmon)
- Onion powder (To season the salmon)
- Paprika (To season the salmon)
- Salt (To season the salmon)
- Black pepper (To season the salmon)
- 3 Large seaweed wraps
- 0.75 cup Cooked rice (Sushi rice is ideal; regular rice also works.)
- 0.125 Cucumber
- 0.25 cup Greek yogurt (For the hot honey sauce)
- 1 tbsp Sriracha (For the hot honey sauce; source spells this “siracha.”)
- 0.5 tbsp Hot honey (For the hot honey sauce)
Steps
- 1
Cut the seaweed wraps into circles. The source later refers to pressing rice onto “seaweed squares”; follow the stated circle-cutting instruction for the wraps.
- 2
Press the cooked rice onto the seaweed wraps. Shape them into taco forms, bringing them together as needed so they hold that shape after air-frying.
- 3
Air-fry the rice-topped wraps at 400°F (about 200°C) for about 10 minutes, or until the rice edges turn golden. If the air fryer is too large to keep the shells in a taco shape, use a mug or dish to hold them together.
- 4
While the wraps cook, chop the cucumber into small pieces.
- 5
Cut the salmon into cubes.
- 6
Season the salmon with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- 7
Cook the salmon in a pan over high heat until its internal temperature reaches 145°F (about 63°C).
- 8
Combine the Greek yogurt, sriracha, and hot honey to make the sauce.
- 9
When the wraps are done, divide the salmon, chopped cucumber, and sauce evenly among them to make three tacos.
- 10
Enjoy the tacos.
Notes
The description lists approximately 400 calories and 33 g protein for all three tacos. No amount is specified for the salmon seasonings. The source calls for cutting the wraps into circles but then refers to “seaweed squares”; the exact intended cut shape is unclear.
