Ingredients
- 200 g Lean ground beef (95% lean and 5% fat)
- Mixed spices (To taste; paprika, garlic, thyme, pepper, and salt. Quantity estimated for nutritional calculation.)
- 2 tbsp Zero-calorie barbecue sauce (The recipe specifies the zero-calorie version; regular barbecue sauce may also be used.)
- 2 fogli Phyllo pastry (The weight is estimated at approximately 20 g per sheet.)
Steps
- 1
Place the lean ground beef in a bowl. Add paprika, garlic, thyme, pepper, and salt to taste, then incorporate the zero-calorie barbecue sauce. Mix until the seasonings and sauce are evenly distributed throughout the meat.
- 2
Lay out one sheet of phyllo pastry and lightly moisten it with water without soaking it. Place the second sheet on top and lightly moisten it as well.
- 3
Spread the seasoned meat mixture over the phyllo sheets, leaving a small margin around the edges. Roll the filled sheets into a compact log.
- 4
Cut the log into pieces of the desired size, taking care not to let too much of the filling escape.
- 5
Arrange the rolls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, without overlapping them. Cook at 170 °C for approximately 15 minutes, until the phyllo pastry is golden and crisp and the meat is completely cooked.
- 6
Let the rolls rest for one or two minutes, then serve them hot.
