Ingredients

  • 300 g aged cheese (Cut into cubes; good-quality semi-aged cheese can also be used.)
  • 1 garlic (Finely chopped.)
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika or paprika (Use smoked paprika or paprika, depending on availability.)
  • 0.5 lime (Use the zest and juice.)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Steps

  1. 1

Cut the aged cheese into evenly sized cubes and place them in a lidded container, such as a food-storage container.

  2. 2

Add the chopped garlic, smoked paprika, and dried oregano.

  3. 3

Add the zest and juice of half a lime.

  4. 4

    Add the extra-virgin olive oil.

  5. 5

Close the container and shake it or mix gently until the cheese is well coated with the dressing. Serve immediately as an appetizer.

Notes

The video also suggests that it can be made with semi-aged cheese. If you have time, let the dressed cheese rest for a few minutes before serving to intensify the flavor.
