Ingredients
- 2 lb Boneless chicken breast, minced
- Salt and pepper (To taste)
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder (For the chicken patty)
- 1 tbsp Onion powder (For the chicken patty)
- Oil (For greasing hands and frying)
- 8 tbsp All-purpose flour (Divide between two dishes, about 4 tbsp in each)
- Salt and pepper (For the coating, to taste)
- 1 tsp Garlic powder (For the coating)
- 1 tsp Onion powder (For the coating)
- 0.333 cup Water (Adjust as needed to make a thick batter)
- 1 cup Mayonnaise (For the sauce)
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (For the sauce)
- Salt and pepper (For the sauce, to taste)
- 1 tsp White vinegar (For the sauce)
- Brioche buns (For assembly)
- Lettuce (Diced, for assembly)
Steps
- 1
Place the minced chicken in a mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then mix well until thoroughly combined.
- 2
Lightly grease your hands with a little oil and shape the chicken mixture into round patties.
- 3
Place the patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes, or until ready to use.
- 4
Prepare two dishes for the coating. Divide the all-purpose flour between them, using about 4 tablespoons in each dish.
- 5
Season one dish of flour with salt and pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the water and mix to form a thick batter, adjusting the water as needed.
- 6
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat until hot.
- 7
Coat each chicken patty in the plain flour mixture, then dip it into the seasoned wet batter.
- 8
Carefully place the coated patties into the hot oil. Fry over medium-low heat for 10–15 minutes, or until fully cooked and crispy golden brown.
- 9
Make the sauce by combining the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper, and white vinegar in a mixing bowl.
- 10
Assemble each sandwich with sauce, a chicken patty, diced lettuce, and additional sauce. Serve with fries and enjoy.
Notes
The source does not specify the amount of frying oil, the number or size of patties, or the quantity of brioche buns and lettuce. It also says to adjust the water as needed to achieve a thick batter. Ensure the chicken patties are fully cooked before serving.
