  • 600 ml Fairlife Fat-Free Milk
  • 300 g Egg Beaters (liquid egg whites/substitute)
  • 5 Jennie-O Turkey Sausage (servings; cooked and crumbled)
  • 60 g Reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese
  • 70 g Cary’s Sugar-Free Maple Syrup (divided)
  • Butter (for greasing the pan)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Kodiak Cakes pancake mix, 600 mL of Fairlife milk, 300g of Egg Beaters, and the cooked turkey sausage.

  3. 3

Add the 60g of reduced-fat shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl and mix everything together until well combined.

  4. 4

Butter an oven-safe sheet pan or tray thoroughly to prevent sticking.

  5. 5

Pour the entire batter into the prepared tray and use a spatula to smooth it out as evenly as possible.

  6. 6

Drizzle 70g of sugar-free maple syrup over the top of the batter.

  7. 7

Place in the oven and bake at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes.

  8. 8

Remove from the oven and let the sheet pan rest for about 1 minute.

  9. 9

Cut into 10 even slices and serve with additional sugar-free syrup if desired.

Notes

This recipe is excellent for meal prep as it can be easily reheated. The author notes that using a sheet pan is much easier than making individual pancake buns for McGriddles.
