Ingredients
- 80 g Almonds
- 70 g Cashews
- 75 g Pistachios
- 2 tbsp Maple syrup (Or honey.)
- Salt (A pinch.)
- 100 g Dark chocolate (Recommended: 70% cocoa or above.)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan/350°F). Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- 2
Add the almonds, cashews, and pistachios directly to the prepared pan.
- 3
Drizzle the maple syrup over the nuts and add a pinch of salt. Toss in the pan until the nuts are evenly coated.
- 4
Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the nuts are golden.
- 5
Remove the pan from the oven and immediately place the dark chocolate bar directly on top of the hot nuts.
- 6
Let the chocolate sit for 2–3 minutes until melted. Gently tilt the pan so the chocolate spreads evenly over the top and edges. To speed melting, return the pan to the oven while it is turned off.
- 7
Let the pan cool completely at room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to set.
- 8
Slice into bars or squares and enjoy.
Notes
The author recommends using a chocolate bar whose taste you enjoy, since chocolate is the main flavor. The source does not specify how long to chill the bars in the refrigerator.
