Microwaved potatoes are browned with onion and seasonings, then layered with fluffy eggs, pork sausage, bacon, and several kinds of cheese. The assembled dish is covered until the cheese melts and can be refrigerated and reheated the next morning.

Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 95 g before cooking, which is about 16 g per serving.

Steps

  1. Break the sausage apart in a pan and brown it. Remove it from the pan and set aside; the narration does not specify how it is removed or whether the pan is wiped.

  2. Cut up the bacon, then fry it to your preferred doneness. Set it aside, reserving the bacon grease in the pan.

  3. Chop half an onion. Cook it in the bacon grease.

  4. Microwave the potatoes for about 12 minutes. Break them down a little with a spatula and add them to the pot with the onion.

  5. Add butter to the potatoes. Season with seasoning salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Cook until the potatoes have some color, as shown in the video.

  6. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Season with pepper and a tiny bit of salt, taking into account that the other ingredients are already salty.

  7. Add the shredded cheddar cheese blend and a couple of slices of American cheese to the eggs, then mix.

  8. Add butter to a pan, then pour in the egg mixture. Cook until the eggs look as shown in the video, then remove them from the pan.

  9. Spread the potatoes in the bottom of a pot or pan. Cover them with shredded cheddar cheese.

  10. Add a layer of the cooked eggs, followed by another layer of shredded cheddar cheese.

  11. Add the browned sausage in a layer, followed by a layer of bacon.

  12. Add one final layer of cheese. Put the lid on and let the cheese melt for 10 minutes, until melted as shown.

  13. Serve. The creator says leftovers can be refrigerated and reheated the next morning.

Notes

Ingredient amounts are mostly not stated. The visible sausage package shows 16 oz (453 g), but it is unclear whether all of it is used. The source does not specify the quantity or type of potatoes, the amount of eggs or cheeses, or the precise amount of butter and seasonings. Refrigerate leftovers and reheat the next morning; storage duration and reheating method are not given.
