Ingredients

  • 75 g Oreo biscuits (Crushed)
  • 1 tbsp Butter (Melted)
  • 160 g Double cream (Whisked to soft peaks)
  • 100 g Terry’s chocolate orange (Melted, plus extra slices for topping)
  • 100 g Cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cocoa powder (For dusting)
  • 2 tbsp Orange peel
  • 2 tbsp Thick double cream or yoghurt (For topping; source gives cream or yoghurt as alternatives)
  • Extra chocolate orange slices (For topping; amount not specified)

Steps

  1. 1

Crush the Oreo biscuits into crumbs. Melt the butter, add it to the crumbs, and mix until combined.

  2. 2

Whisk the 160 g double cream until it forms soft peaks.

  3. 3

Melt the chocolate orange. In another bowl, combine the cream cheese, whipped cream, and melted chocolate orange; whisk with an electric whisk or a regular whisk until mixed.

  4. 4

Divide the biscuit crumb between two glasses, then top with the chocolate orange mixture.

  5. 5

Serve straight away, or refrigerate for around 2 hours.

  6. 6

Top each glass with the thick double cream or yoghurt, dust with cocoa powder, and add a chocolate orange slice. Enjoy.

Notes

The recipe specifies 100 g chocolate orange plus extra slices for topping, but does not give an amount for the extra slices. The topping may be thick double cream or yoghurt. No separate amount of orange peel is assigned to a particular step in the source.
