Ingredients

  • 284 g Nonfat Greek Yogurt (Vanilla, chocolate, or plain; divided)
  • 65 ml Almond Milk (Plus more if batter is too thick)
  • 35 g Light Butter (Softened)
  • 1 Egg (Medium)
  • 45 g Oat Flour
  • 12 g All Purpose Flour
  • 72 g Granulated Sugar Substitute
  • 45 g Casein Protein Powder (Chocolate flavor; 75% of the protein blend)
  • 15 g Whey Protein Powder (Chocolate flavor; 25% of the protein blend)
  • 25 g Black Cocoa Powder (Or dark cocoa powder)
  • 4 g Baking Soda
  • 2 g Baking Powder
  • 68 g Nonfat Greek Yogurt (For frosting)
  • 22 g Light Cool Whip (For frosting)
  • 24 g Powdered Sugar Substitute (For frosting)
  • 1 scoop Whey/Casein Blend Protein Powder (Optional - adds frosting thickness; author uses half chocolate, half vanilla)
  • 1 Oreo Cookie (Crushed, for frosting)
  • 1 Oreo Cookie (Optional - for decoration)
  • 0.25 Oreo Cookie (Optional - thinly crushed for decoration)
  • Black Icing (Optional - small streak for decoration)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the wet ingredients: 284g Greek yogurt, 65mL almond milk, 35g softened light butter, and 1 medium egg. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: 45g oat flour, 12g all-purpose flour, 72g granulated sugar substitute, 45g casein protein, 15g whey protein, 25g black cocoa powder, 4g baking soda, and 2g baking powder.

  4. 4

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix until the batter is smooth with no clumps. If the batter appears too thick, add a splash more almond milk as needed.

  5. 5

Pour the batter into a loaf tin that has been sprayed with non-stick spray or lined with parchment paper.

  6. 6

Bake for 40-45 minutes. The author recommends slightly underbaking for a softer, fudgier texture.

  7. 7

While the brownie is baking, prepare the McFlurry frosting by mixing 68g Greek yogurt, 22g light Cool Whip, 24g powdered sugar substitute, 1 scoop of protein powder (if using), and 1 crushed Oreo. Refrigerate the frosting for at least 10 minutes.

  8. 8

Once the brownie has cooled, spread the frosting over the top. Add the optional decoration ingredients (Oreo on top, crushed Oreo, and black icing streak) if desired.

  9. 9

Chill the frosted brownie for an additional 10+ minutes to set the frosting before slicing into 8 pieces.

Notes

A blend of 75% casein and 25% whey protein is recommended for the best texture. Optional decoration ingredients are not included in the author's macro calculations. If the batter is too thick, adjust with small amounts of almond milk until it reaches a smooth consistency.
