Ingredients

  • 2 Naan bread (Store-bought)
  • 2 tbsp Garlic butter (Prepared garlic butter)

  • Italian seasoning (A little bit)
  • Red pepper flakes (To taste)
  • Fresh basil (For garnish)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

Place the naan bread in the oven and bake for 5 minutes on each side.

  3. 3

Take the naan out of the oven and smear the surface generously with garlic butter.

  4. 4

Top the buttered naan with Parmesan cheese, a generous amount of shredded mozzarella, and some mozzarella balls (pearls).

  5. 5

Sprinkle a little bit of Italian seasoning and some red pepper flakes over the cheese.

  6. 6

Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C).

  7. 7

  8. 8

Remove from the oven and cut into slices.

  9. 9

Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

The author recommends keeping garlic butter in the refrigerator at all times for easy snacks like this. The double-bake method (once for the bread, once for the cheese) ensures a crispy crust.
