Creamy Garlic Butter Steak with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients
- 4 steaks (such as sirloin, ribeye, or filet)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp butter (divided)
- 8 oz mushrooms (sliced)
- 4 garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 0.5 cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt (divided)
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp parsley (chopped)

Pat steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and black pepper.

Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 1 to 2 minutes.

Add steaks and sear for 3 to 5 minutes per side, depending on thickness and desired doneness.

Remove steaks to a plate and let them rest while making the sauce.

Add remaining butter to the same skillet.

Add mushrooms and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring often, until browned and tender.
