Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 0.333 cup Nutella
  • plain biscuits (1 pack; crush before using)
  • 3 tbsp melted butter
  • Ferrero Rocher chocolate truffles (8–9 truffles total; chop 5–6 for a layer and reserve the remaining truffle(s) for decoration)
  • 1 bar semisweet chocolate bar (melt before adding the final layer; bar size is not specified)
  • hazelnuts (chopped, for decorating)

Steps

  1. 1

Crush the plain biscuits in a bowl. Add the melted butter and mix until well combined. Set the biscuit mixture aside.

  2. 2

In a separate bowl, combine the heavy whipping cream and Nutella. Whip until stiff peaks form.

  3. 3

Prepare the serving cups. Add a layer of the crushed biscuit mixture to the bottom of each cup.

  4. 4

Add a layer of the whipped chocolate cream mixture over the biscuits.

  5. 5

Chop 5–6 of the Ferrero Rocher truffles and add them as a layer on top of the chocolate cream.

  6. 6

Add another layer of the whipped chocolate cream mixture.

  7. 7

Melt the semisweet chocolate bar and finish each cup with a layer of melted chocolate.

  8. 8

Decorate the cups with chopped hazelnuts and Ferrero Rocher truffles.

  9. 9

Chill the mousse cups for 2 hours before serving.

Notes

The source does not specify the biscuit pack size, chocolate bar weight, number of cups, or exact amount of hazelnuts. It also does not state a melting method for the chocolate bar; melt it using your preferred method before applying the final layer.
