- black pepper (To taste, for the chicken patty)
- 1 tbsp garlic powder (For the chicken patty)
- 1 tbsp onion powder (For the chicken patty)
- oil (A little for greasing hands and additional oil for frying)
- 8 tbsp all-purpose flour (Divided between two dishes, about 4 tbsp per dish)
- salt (To taste, for the coating)
- black pepper (To taste, for the coating)
- 1 tsp garlic powder (For the coating)
- 1 tsp onion powder (For the coating)
- 0.333 cup water (Adjust as needed to make a thick batter)
- 1 cup mayonnaise (For the sauce)
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (For the sauce)
- salt (To taste, for the sauce)
- black pepper (To taste, for the sauce)
- 1 tsp white vinegar (For the sauce)
- brioche buns (For assembly)
- lettuce (Diced, for assembly)
Steps
- 1
Combine the minced chicken breast in a mixing bowl. Season it with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, then mix thoroughly until evenly combined.
- 2
Lightly grease your hands with a little oil. Shape the seasoned chicken into round patties and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Freeze the chicken patties for 30 minutes, or until ready to use.
- 4
Prepare two dishes for the coating. Divide the flour between them, using about 4 tablespoons in each dish.
- 5
Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and the water to one dish. Mix to form a thick batter, adjusting the water as needed.
- 6
Heat oil in a frying pan. Wait until the oil is hot before adding the patties.
- 7
Coat each chicken patty in the dry flour mixture, then coat it in the wet batter.
- 8
Carefully place the coated patties into the hot oil. Fry over medium-low heat for 10–15 minutes, or until fully cooked and crispy golden brown.
- 9
Combine the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, and white vinegar in a mixing bowl to make the sauce.
- 10
Assemble each sandwich by spreading sauce on a brioche bun, adding a chicken patty and diced lettuce, and topping with more sauce.
- 11
Serve the sandwiches with fries and enjoy.
