Ingredients
- 8 slices White bread (Standard sandwich bread; enough for 4 disks)
- 0.5 cup Mozzarella cheese (Shredded)
- 0.25 cup Pizza sauce (Or tomato sauce)
- 12 slices Pepperoni
- 4 tbsp Butter (Melted)
- 1 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 1 tsp Fresh parsley (Chopped)
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (Grated)
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2
Lay out slices of bread and place a portion of mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, and pepperoni slices onto the center of half the bread slices.
- 3
Place another slice of bread on top of each prepared slice to create a sandwich.
- 4
Using a large round cookie cutter, a bowl, or a cup, press down firmly over the center of the sandwich to cut out a circular disk and seal the edges of the bread together.
- 5
In a small bowl, combine the 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic, and chopped parsley. Whisk until well combined.
- 6
Place the pizza disks on a baking sheet and paint the garlic butter mixture generously over the top of each disk using a pastry brush.
- 7
Sprinkle the tops with grated parmesan cheese.
- 8
Bake in the preheated oven at 375°F for 15 minutes until the bread is golden brown and crispy.
