- 1.5 oz rye whiskey
- 0.5 oz Amaro Montenegro
- 0.5 oz Cocchi Americano Bianco (Lillet Blanc or vermouth bianco can be used as a substitute)
- ice (to fill mixing glass three-quarters full)
- cocktail cherries (for garnishing)
Steps

Add 1½ ounces rye, ½ ounce Amaro Montenegro, and ½ ounce Cocchi Americano Bianco to a mixing glass.

Fill the mixing glass three-quarters full with ice.

Using a bar spoon, stir the mixture until it is fully combined and well chilled, about 1 minute.

Strain the cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with cocktail cherries and serve.
Notes
Lillet Blanc or vermouth bianco (also sometimes labeled blanc or blanco) can be used in place of the Cocchi Americano Bianco. This recipe is a variation of the Little Italy cocktail, which was originally created by Audrey Saunders.
