Ingredients
- 8 oz Brie (whole wheel)
- 5 oz Orange-fig jam (store-bought; source gives a range of 4–6 oz)
- 0.5 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp Water (optional; only needed if the jam mixture is too thick)
- 0.25 cup Shelled pistachios
- 2.5 Fresh figs (halved; source gives a range of 2–3)
- Hot honey (for drizzling)
- Flaky sea salt (to taste)
- Fresh thyme (for sprinkling)
- Toasted baguette or crackers (for serving)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the whole Brie wheel on it.
- 3
Bake the Brie for 12–15 minutes, until it is soft and gooey in the center. The jam mixture may be added before baking if desired.
- 4
Mix the orange-fig jam with the Dijon mustard. Stir in the optional water only if the mixture is too thick.
- 5
Spoon the jam mixture over the Brie.
- 6
Transfer the Brie to a serving plate. Finish with pistachios, fresh figs, hot honey, fresh thyme, and flaky sea salt.
- 7
Serve warm with toasted baguette or crackers.
Notes
The source gives a range of 4–6 oz of jam and 2–3 figs; the midpoint quantities are used here for nutrition and scaling. The instructions contain a typo in step 4, but the jam-and-Dijon mixture is clear. The source does not specify an amount for hot honey, flaky salt, thyme, or serving bread/crackers.
