Ingredients
- 0.5 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 0.5 cup fresh strawberries (halved; plus extra for layering)
- 0.25 cup Greek yogurt (plus extra for layering)
- 0.5 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate (melted, for topping (optional))
Steps
- 1
In a high-speed blender, combine the rolled oats, vanilla protein powder, strawberries, Greek yogurt, and milk.
- 2
Blend the mixture until it is completely smooth and reaches a pudding-like or mousse-like consistency.
- 3
In a clean glass jar or container, add a layer of fresh sliced strawberries and a dollop of extra Greek yogurt.
- 4
Pour the blended oat mixture into the jar over the strawberries and yogurt.
- 5
If desired, melt a small amount of chocolate and pour it over the top to create a chocolate shell.
- 6
Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or overnight, to allow the mixture to set.
Notes
For a firmer texture, ensure you use a thick Greek yogurt. If the mixture is too thick to blend, add an extra splash of milk. This recipe is highly customizable with different fruit or protein powder flavors.
