Ingredients

  • 4 Limes (Washed and quartered; remove seeds. Use whole limes, including the peel, for maximum flavor.)
  • 4 cup Cold water
  • 0.5 cup Granulated sugar (Adjust to taste depending on the tartness of the limes.)
  • 0.5 cup Sweetened condensed milk (Add more or less to adjust the creaminess and sweetness.)
  • Ice (For serving; use as desired.)

Steps

  1. 1

Wash the limes thoroughly and cut each one into quarters. Remove and discard the seeds. Keeping the peel on provides the characteristic intense lime flavor, but avoid over-blending because the peel can make the drink bitter.

  2. 2

Add the quartered limes, cold water, and granulated sugar to a blender. Blend in short pulses for about 10–15 seconds, just until the limes are broken down and the liquid is fragrant; do not purée the peels completely.

  3. 3

Pour the blended mixture through a fine-mesh strainer into a pitcher. Press gently on the solids to extract the liquid, then discard the strained lime pulp and peel.

  4. 4

Stir the sweetened condensed milk into the strained lime mixture until completely incorporated and creamy. Taste and adjust the sweetness or condensed milk as desired.

  5. 5

Serve immediately over ice. Stir before pouring if the drink has begun to separate, and enjoy well chilled.

Notes

The post describes the drink and its core ingredients but does not provide a written recipe with measurements or method. Quantities and preparation details are therefore standard estimates for Brazilian creamy lemonade. Serve immediately because the lime peel can contribute bitterness if the drink sits for a long time.
