Ingredients
- 7 garlic cloves (sliced)
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (a good splash)
- 13 king prawns (cleaned and deveined)
- 300 g octopus (previously cooked and sliced)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- fresh parsley (a handful, chopped)
Steps
- 1
Peel and slice the 7 garlic cloves.
- 2
In a frying pan or casserole dish, add a generous splash of extra virgin olive oil and cook the garlic over low heat to infuse the oil without burning it.
- 3
While the garlic is cooking, clean the king prawns by removing the veins.
- 4
Add the king prawns to the pan and sauté for approximately 2 minutes.
- 5
Cut the previously cooked octopus into pieces and add it to the pan with the prawns.
- 6
Turn off the heat and add a tablespoon of smoked paprika.
- 7
Add a handful of freshly chopped parsley, mix well, and serve immediately.
Notes
It is important to turn off the heat before adding the paprika to prevent it from burning and making the dish bitter. The octopus must be already cooked before starting the recipe.
