Ingredients
- 400 g Low-fat cream cheese
- 600 g 0% Greek yogurt
- 5 Oreo cookies (Separate the cream filling from the cookies; blend the cookies very finely and divide them, incorporating about half into the cream and reserving the rest for finishing.)
- 60 g Sweetener (The author uses a blend of stevia and erythritol.)
- Oreo flavoring (Optional; use only a few drops because the flavor can be very intense.)
- Salt (A pinch.)
- 15 g Unsweetened cocoa powder (For the topping. If protein powder is not used, add 5 g extra cocoa powder.)
- 70 ml Plant-based milk (Unsweetened plant-based milk is preferable.)
- Sweetener (To taste, for sweetening the topping.)
- 15 g Protein powder (Optional; it helps improve the texture and flavor. Alternatively, use 5 g extra unsweetened cocoa powder.)
Steps
- 1
Open the Oreo cookies and separate the cream filling from the cookies. Set the cream filling aside; the cookies will be blended and used in the cream and as a garnish.
- 2
Place the low-fat cream cheese, 0% Greek yogurt, Oreo cream filling, 60 g sweetener, a few drops of Oreo flavoring if desired, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- 3
Whisk the cream ingredients until smooth and lump-free.
- 4
Blend the Oreo cookies separately until reduced to a very fine powder.
- 5
Add about half of the Oreo powder to the white cream and mix to distribute it evenly.
- 6
In a second bowl, combine the unsweetened cocoa powder, plant-based milk, sweetener to taste, and protein powder, if using. If omitting the protein powder, add 5 g extra cocoa powder instead.
- 7
Mix the cocoa topping until smooth and sufficiently uniform. If necessary, adjust the sweetness with additional sweetener.
- 8
Divide the white cream mixture among three single-serving containers or glasses, forming the base layer.
- 9
Pour the chocolate sauce over each portion, spreading it evenly.
- 10
Finish with the remaining crumbled Oreo powder.
- 11
Cover the containers and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, allowing the texture to firm up and the flavors to meld.
