Ingredients
- 100 g Plain Non Fat Greek Yogurt
- 20 g Sugar Free Fat Free White Chocolate Pudding Mix (divided)
- 16 g Vanilla Whey/Casein Protein Powder (for filling)
- 4 g Zero Calorie Sweetener
- Sea Salt (pinch, divided)
- Vanilla Extract (splash)
- 160 g Fairlife Fat Free Milk
- 4 Oreo Thins (crushed, plus extra for topping)
- 30 g Vanilla Whey/Casein Blend Protein Powder (for icing)
- 15 g Powdered Sugar (can substitute with Swerve for lower calorie)
- 12 Sweet Hawaiian Rolls (one standard pack)
- Non Stick Cooking Spray (adds approx 0.5g fat per roll)
- Cold Water (added gradually for icing consistency)
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- 2
Prepare the protein cream filling by adding the Greek yogurt, 20g of pudding mix, 16g of protein powder, sweetener, sea salt, and vanilla extract into a bowl.
- 3
Slowly add the Fairlife milk to the bowl and mix thoroughly. The more you whisk, the better the consistency will be. Once combined, place the bowl in the fridge to cool and thicken.
- 4
Make the protein icing by combining 30g of protein powder, powdered sugar, 4g of pudding mix, and a pinch of sea salt in a separate bowl. Mix well to avoid clumping.
- 5
Gradually add cold water to the icing mixture, stirring constantly until it reaches a smooth icing consistency.
- 6
Separate the Hawaiian rolls and place them in the preheated oven for 4-5 minutes until warmed through.
- 7
Remove rolls from the oven. Cut a small hole into the side of each roll and press your finger through to create a cavity for the filling.
- 8
Crush 4 Oreo Thins and fold them into the chilled protein cream filling.
- 9
Transfer the cream filling to a Ziploc bag or piping bag. Snip the corner and pipe the filling generously into each donut hole.
- 10
Dip the top of each roll into the protein icing or spread it over the top.
- 11
Chill the finished donuts for 10-15 minutes to let the icing set. Top with additional crushed Oreo Thins before serving.
