Ingredients
Crispy Chicken
Wrap
Steps
Prepare the chicken by slicing the breast into strips and seasoning lightly with salt and pepper.
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with a thin layer of mayonnaise (to help the coating stick), one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs.
Coat each chicken strip in mayonnaise, dip into the beaten eggs, and then roll in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Fry the chicken strips in a pan with oil over medium heat or air-fry until the exterior is golden brown and crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74 °C) (74°C (165 °F)).
Lay the tortilla wraps flat and spread a layer of mayonnaise down the center of each.
Layer the lettuce, shredded cabbage, and shredded carrots on top of the mayonnaise.
Place the crispy chicken strips over the vegetables.
Sprinkle with crispy onions and drizzle with traditional syrup for a sweet and savory finish.
Fold the sides of the tortilla in and roll tightly to form a wrap. Slice in half and serve immediately.
Notes
The author notes this is similar to a KFC Chicken Foldover. You can customize the vegetables or sauces to your preference.
