- oil for frying (For frying; if air frying, spray with oil.)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 0.5 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- black pepper (A heavy pinch)
- 0.5 lemon lemon juice (Juice of ½ lemon)
- 0.333 cup Parmesan (Grated; for dressing)
- 1 clove garlic (Grated)
- 3 buns
- 1.5 tbsp butter (For the buns)
- 3 tbsp Parmesan (Grated; for the buns)
- 1.5 cup lettuce (Shredded)
Steps
- 1
Season the chicken breasts with the avocado oil, pickle juice, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, cayenne, and onion powder.
- 2
Coat each seasoned chicken breast in the flour.
- 3
Dip the floured chicken in the beaten eggs.
- 4
Press the chicken into the cornflakes until fully coated.
- 5
For frying, heat oil to 350°F. Fry the coated chicken for 6–8 minutes, until golden and its internal temperature reaches 165°F. Cooking time may vary depending on thickness.
- 6
Alternatively, air-fry at 400°F for 10–12 minutes, spraying the chicken with oil and flipping it halfway through. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F; cooking time may vary depending on thickness.
- 7
Mix the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, lemon juice, grated Parmesan, and grated garlic together until smooth.
- 8
Broil the buns for 2 minutes, watching closely so they do not burn.
- 9
Butter the tops of the buns and grate the Parmesan over them.
- 10
Spread Caesar dressing on the buns.
- 11
Add the crispy chicken and shredded lettuce, then add more dressing.
- 12
Close the sandwiches and serve.
