Ingredients
Steps
Peel the banana and cut it in half crosswise, then slice each half lengthwise to create four quarters.
Spread a generous amount of peanut butter onto the flat side of each banana piece.
Sprinkle ground cinnamon and ground nutmeg over the peanut butter on each banana piece.
Place the prepared banana pieces into the air fryer basket.
Cook in the air fryer at 350°F (180 °C) (175°C (350 °F)) for 5 minutes.
Remove the bananas from the air fryer; the peanut butter should be melted and the bananas softened.
Drizzle honey over the top of the warm bananas.
Allow the bananas to cool for a few minutes before eating to avoid burning your mouth.
Notes
The author suggests letting the snack cool for a minute as the peanut butter and banana can get very hot in the air fryer. You can use any type of peanut butter (creamy, chunky, or natural).
