Steps
Cook the 275g of long grain rice according to package instructions.
In a large pan or skillet over medium-high heat, fry the 500g chicken mince with the diced 1/2 red onion, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 tsp Chinese five spice.
Once the chicken is browned, add 2 tbsp sesame oil, 2 tbsp light soy sauce, 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar, and 2 tbsp honey.
Continue to fry the mixture until the sauce has caramelized and coated the chicken.
Stir through the sliced spring onion and 3 sliced fresh chillis, then remove the chicken mixture from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the 300g of green beans. Fry them on high heat for a few minutes until they are slightly blistered and tender.
Add 1 tbsp of sesame seeds and the remaining 1 tbsp of honey to the beans. Fry for a few more minutes until the beans are glazed.
Serve the sesame ground chicken and sticky green beans alongside the cooked rice.
Notes
