Ingredients

  • 1 paquete King's Hawaiian Rolls (sliced in half horizontally)
  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 6 American cheese (slices)
  • Grillo's Pickles (slices for assembly and 1/3 cup chopped for the dressing)
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1.5 tbsp Ranch seasoning powder
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • Pickle juice (a splash)
  • 0.5 cup Shredded Colby Jack cheese
  • 6 tiras Cooked bacon (crumbled)
  • Pickle-flavored fried cucumbers (such as 'crispy fried cucumbers' for salads)
  • 2 tbsp Melted butter
  • Sesame seeds (for sprinkling)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat the oven to 350 °F (175 °C).

  2. 2

Prepare the pickle ranch by combining the mayonnaise, ranch seasoning, milk, and 1/3 cup of chopped Grillo's pickles in a bowl.

  3. 3

Add a splash of pickle juice to the mixture and stir well. Place in the refrigerator to thicken while preparing the rest.

  4. 4

Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  5. 5

Season the meat with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika while it cooks.

  6. 6

Once the meat is well browned, drain any excess grease from the skillet.

  7. 7

Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls in a greased baking dish or on a baking sheet.

  8. 8

Layer the American cheese slices over the base of the rolls.

  9. 9

Distribute the cooked ground beef evenly over the cheese.

  10. 10

Top the beef with some of the prepared pickle ranch and the shredded Colby Jack cheese.

  11. 11

Add the crumbled bacon, Grillo's pickle slices, and crispy fried cucumbers on top if desired.

  12. 12

Place the top halves of the rolls back on and brush them with the melted butter.

  13. 13

Sprinkle sesame seeds over the butter.

  14. 14

Bake at 350 °F (175 °C) for 10 to 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown.

  15. 15

Serve hot, accompanied by the remaining pickle ranch on the side.

Notes

If you cannot find pickle-flavored fried cucumbers, you can use crispy fried onions as a substitute. For best results, keep the rolls attached when slicing to make it easier to assemble all the sliders at once.
