Place the thinly sliced chicken in a bowl. Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin powder, olive oil, and red chili paste.

  2. 2

Add the thinly sliced white onion and freshly minced garlic to the chicken. Mix thoroughly so the chicken and aromatics are evenly coated.

Marinate the chicken mixture for at least 30 minutes.

  4. 4

Heat a pan over medium-high heat with the olive oil from the chicken preparation.

  5. 5

Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through.

  6. 6

For the creamy white sauce, place the yogurt, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, salt, minced garlic, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.

  7. 7

Mix the sauce ingredients together until smooth and combined.

  10. 10

Mix the sumac onion ingredients together until the onion is evenly coated.

  11. 11

Place a pita bread on a work surface. Add lettuce, cooked chicken, sliced tomato, pickled cucumber, sumac onions, and creamy garlic sauce.
