Ingredients
- Butter (For greasing the mug)
- 1 Egg
- 2 cucchiai Sugar
- 1 cucchiaio Vegetable oil
- 1 cucchiaio Milk
- 2 cucchiai Flour
- 1 cucchiaio Unsweetened cocoa powder (Scant)
- 0.5 cucchiaino Baking powder (Scant)
- 1 cubetto Chocolate (Optional; dark or milk chocolate)
- Chopped hazelnuts (A little, optional, for garnish)
Steps
- 1
Grease the inside of a large mug; alternatively, divide the batter between two small mugs.
- 2
Crack the egg into the mug, add the sugar, and mix. Pour in the oil and milk, then mix again.
- 3
Add the flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, and baking powder. Mix well until smooth.
- 4
If desired, insert a piece of chocolate into the center of the batter. Sprinkle a little chopped hazelnuts over the surface, if desired.
- 5
Microwave at 750 W for 1 minute and 45 seconds, or until the cake is cooked through.
Notes
The instructions mention 1 tbsp of vegetable oil, which was omitted from the ingredient list but is included here. The description indicates either one large mug or two small mugs. The automatic transcription mentions toasted almonds as an alternative to hazelnuts, but the written recipe specifies chopped hazelnuts.
