Ingredients
- dark chocolate (for the base and coating)
- white chocolate (for the filling)
- Nutkao (milk and hazelnut cream)
- puffed cereals (such as Kinder Cereali)
Steps
- 1
Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave to prepare the torrone base.
- 2
Pour the melted chocolate into a torrone mold, coating the bottom and sides well, then let it rest in the freezer for about 10 minutes to set.
- 3
Meanwhile, melt the white chocolate.
- 4
In a bowl, combine the melted white chocolate, Nutkao cream, and puffed cereals, mixing everything well.
- 5
Pour the white chocolate, Nutkao, and cereal mixture into the mold over the now-set dark chocolate base.
- 6
Cover everything with another layer of melted dark chocolate to seal the torrone.
- 7
Place the mold in the freezer to allow the torrone to set completely before unmolding and serving.
Notes
The final resting time in the freezer should be at least one hour for optimal texture. You can replace Nutkao with another milk or hazelnut spread.
