Ingredients

  • 80 g Plain flour
  • 2 tbsp Paprika (Use half in the seasoned flour and the remainder in the sauce.)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 Chicken breasts (Slice each in half lengthways to make 4 thinner fillets.)
  • 4 cloves Garlic (Chopped.)
  • 150 ml Chicken stock
  • 150 ml Double cream
  • 15 g Parsley (Chopped.)
  • Cooking oil (Some, for heating in the frying pan.)

Steps

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine the plain flour, half of the paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until evenly blended.

  2. 2

Slice each chicken breast in half lengthways to make four thinner fillets.

  3. 3

Coat each chicken fillet in the seasoned flour, covering all sides.

  4. 4

Heat some cooking oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat.

  5. 5

Cook the chicken in the pan until golden all over, about 3–4 minutes per side.

  6. 6

Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.

  7. 7

Add the chopped garlic to the pan and cook for 30 seconds.

  8. 8

Pour in the chicken stock and double cream.

  9. 9

Add the remaining paprika and stir the sauce well.

  10. 10

Return the chicken to the pan and stir to coat it with the sauce.

  11. 11

Bring the sauce to a boil, then cook until it is thick and creamy.

  12. 12

Sprinkle in the chopped parsley and taste for seasoning.

  13. 13

Dish up the chicken, spoon some creamy sauce over it, and serve. It goes well with pasta, rice, or potatoes.

Notes

The creator served it with baby hasselback potatoes and broccoli. The source does not specify the amount or type of cooking oil, or a cooking time for thickening the sauce.
