Ingredients
Steps
Divide the ground beef into two equal portions. Use a burger press or your hands to form two thin patties.
Place the cheddar cheese in the center of one of the beef patties, leaving a free border around it.
Place the second beef patty on top and firmly press the edges to seal the cheese inside, ensuring there are no cracks.
Season the meat on both sides with your favorite spice blend.
Create a bacon weave by interlocking the strips vertically and horizontally on a flat surface.
Place the stuffed burger in the center of the bacon weave and wrap it completely, securing the ends.
Preheat the grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the burger, starting with the bacon seam side down to seal it.
Cook on both sides until the bacon is very crispy and the meat reaches the desired doneness (approximately 6-8 minutes per side for medium).
Lightly toast the bun, spread the sauce, and place the burger on top to serve.
Notes
Make sure to seal the edges of the meat very well before wrapping with bacon to prevent the cheese from leaking during cooking. Using a burger press makes it easier to achieve a uniform seal.
