Steps
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200 °C) (205°C (400 °F)). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Unroll the pizza crust dough on a work surface. Arrange the five string cheese sticks evenly apart on one half of the dough, leaving enough space between them to cut individual breadsticks.
Fold the uncovered half of the pizza crust dough over the cheese sticks so the cheese is fully covered.
Slice between each string cheese stick to divide the dough into individual breadsticks. Press the dough edges together firmly around each piece to seal completely and prevent the cheese from escaping during baking.
Transfer the sealed breadsticks to the parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
Combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley flakes in a small bowl. Brush the mixture over the top of each breadstick.
Bake at 400°F (200 °C) (205°C (400 °F)) for 12–15 minutes, until the dough is cooked through and lightly golden.
Allow the breadsticks to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy while warm for the best cheese pull.
Notes
Seal the dough edges well so the melted cheese stays inside. The original recipe does not specify amounts for the garlic powder or parsley flakes; add both to taste.
