Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 665 g before cooking, which is about 55 g per serving.
Steps
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180 °C) (175°C (350 °F)). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or another suitable baking liner.
Add the oat flour, unsweetened cacao powder, baking soda, and salt to a large mixing bowl. Stir until the dry ingredients are evenly combined and no streaks remain.
Add the creamy cashew or peanut butter and maple syrup to the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly until a cohesive, evenly blended cookie dough forms.
Add the chopped dark chocolate or dark chocolate chips to the dough and fold them through until distributed throughout.
Scoop portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place the balls on the lined cookie sheet, leaving space between them for baking.
Bake at 350°F (180 °C) (175°C (350 °F)) for 10 minutes, until the cookies are set around the edges while remaining soft and brownie-like in the centers.
Remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool briefly on the baking sheet before enjoying.
Notes
The post does not specify a cookie yield; approximately 12 cookies is estimated from the ingredient quantities. The dough may be soft, so allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet to firm up.
