Ingredients

  • 2 lb minced chicken (Divide into 10 equal portions; use approximately 2–3 tablespoons per tortilla.)
  • 10 mini tortillas
  • salt and pepper (To taste, for seasoning the chicken.)
  • oil (For cooking the tacos.)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise (For the Caesar dressing.)
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard (For the Caesar dressing.)
  • salt (To taste, for the Caesar dressing.)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil (For the Caesar dressing.)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (For the Caesar dressing.)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice (For the Caesar dressing.)
  • 2 cloves garlic (Freshly minced; the source gives a range of 2–3 cloves.)
  • 1 tsp black pepper (For the Caesar dressing.)
  • 1 large head romaine lettuce (Diced, for the Caesar salad topping.)
  • 0.333 cup Parmesan cheese (Shredded or shaved, for topping.)
  • 1 cup croutons (For topping the tacos.)

Steps

  1. 1

Divide the minced chicken into 10 equal portions.

  2. 2

Place approximately 2–3 tablespoons of minced chicken in the center of each mini tortilla. Press the chicken down gently to create an even layer over the tortilla, then season with salt and pepper.

  3. 3

Heat a skillet over high heat and add a small amount of cooking oil.

  4. 4

Place the tortillas in the skillet with the meat side facing down. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for 2–3 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  5. 5

Flip the tacos and cook the tortilla side until it is crispy and golden.

  6. 6

In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

  7. 7

Slowly pour in the olive oil while whisking continuously, until the Caesar dressing is smooth and emulsified.

  8. 8

Top each cooked taco with diced romaine lettuce, shaved or shredded Parmesan cheese, and croutons.

  9. 9

Drizzle the Caesar dressing over each taco.

  10. 10

Serve the Chicken Caesar Smash Tacos immediately.

Notes

The source does not specify the exact amount of cooking oil or a specific skillet size. Cook the chicken until cooked through before serving.
