Switch from ReciMe to SeeMeCook: Save Recipes and $30 a Year

ReciMe's published U.S. annual example is $39.99. SeeMeCook Pro is $9.99 a year in the U.S., a $30 annual difference at those prices. You can begin moving recipes with SeeMeCook's free plan, which includes 100 imports each week, Books, search, scaling and Cooking Mode.

Start with the recipes you cook most often. Keep the originals while you bring their source links or recipe photos into SeeMeCook, check the results, and build a collection you can use straight away.

Find the original recipe link

ReciMe's help page says you can open a saved recipe, go to Recipe Notes, and choose Open to [source] to view its original website or social post. Copy the URL of that original recipe or supported cooking video.

Paste it into SeeMeCook's Import Recipe screen, or share the original supported video directly to SeeMeCook. Use the specific recipe page or video link, rather than a creator's profile or a general website homepage.

This route does not depend on SeeMeCook opening a ReciMe account or understanding a ReciMe share-page link. It starts with the recipe's original source. If that source is no longer accessible, keep the copy you have and use the recipe-photo route below.

Keep a copy of recipes you have changed

Your own notes and edits may differ from the original source. Keep a readable copy before replacing your everyday workflow. ReciMe documents sharing recipes as a URL or PDF; its free-plan guide lists export among paid features, so check what is available in your account.

For a recipe you can read but cannot reach at its original link, take clear screenshots of the ingredients and steps, where permitted. SeeMeCook can import recipe photos and screenshots. Include all the needed information, in order, and keep images for one recipe together; up to 10 photos of that recipe can be included in one import.

Treat a PDF export as a backup in this checklist. The steps here cover supported original links and recipe photos, without promising a direct or bulk ReciMe transfer. Keep the backup until you have checked the saved result.

Check the first few before moving more

  1. Import one recipe you know well.
  2. Compare its ingredients, amounts, units and steps with the version you want to keep.
  3. Check your personal changes and add any missing notes or adjustments.
  4. Put the recipe in a Book, then find it again by title or ingredient.
  5. Open Cooking Mode and make sure the written steps are the ones you expect to follow.

SeeMeCook keeps the source link and identifiable creator credit when available. When a source does not state a quantity, estimates are identified. Review those amounts, rather than treating an imported recipe as a reason to skip a check.

Once the first few recipes look right, continue through the meals you use most often. You do not need to move an entire saved folder before SeeMeCook becomes useful for dinner.

Handle the subscription separately

Moving recipes does not cancel a subscription. If you decide to stop paying for ReciMe, use the cancellation method for the store or service that bills you. ReciMe's help center says saved imported recipes remain after cancellation. That does not replace keeping copies of recipes and personal edits you care about.

The $30 comparison is $39.99 minus $9.99 for the published U.S. annual prices, checked on October 28, 2026, Pacific time. Local offers and billing terms can differ; switching does not promise a refund for an existing term. See the pricing breakdown for annual and monthly billing, or the full ReciMe comparison for features.

Start with one recipe you already trust. Save it in SeeMeCook, check the result and put the lower annual bill to work when choosing your next subscription.
