Recipe App Prices: Keep $30–$50 a Year with SeeMeCook

SeeMeCook Pro costs $9.99 a year in the U.S. ReciMe's published U.S. annual example is $39.99, and Samsung Food+ lists $59.99. That leaves $30 or $50 a year in your pocket while SeeMeCook gives you unlimited imports, recipe translation, and the cooking tools in its Pro plan.

The price of a recipe app should be easy to check. Here are the published U.S. dollar prices, with annual subscriptions separated from monthly billing and storefront variants kept visible. Sources were checked on October 28, 2026, Pacific time. Your store shows the offer available to your account before purchase.

The annual column is one yearly payment. The monthly column is a monthly payment; the final column multiplies it by 12. An annual plan's monthly equivalent is not a monthly billing option.

ReciMe's help center gives $39.99 as a U.S. annual example and says prices vary by country. Its U.S. App Store also lists several ReciMe Plus purchase amounts without identifying their billing periods. We have not guessed a monthly price from those entries.

Osta's U.S. listing includes named Osta Premium yearly purchases at $49.99 and $59.99, plus older Gusta-named yearly and monthly purchases. The table shows those separately rather than pretending every Osta subscriber sees the same offer.

What you keep by choosing SeeMeCook

At the listed annual prices, the calculation is straightforward:

  • ReciMe's published $39.99 U.S. example minus SeeMeCook's $9.99 equals $30 a year.
  • Osta Premium's $49.99 or $59.99 yearly entries minus $9.99 equal $40 or $50 a year. The Gusta-named $39.99 entry gives a $30 difference.
  • Samsung Food+'s $59.99 yearly price minus $9.99 equals $50 a year.

These are subscription-price differences, not a claim that every plan includes the same features. Discounts, taxes where applicable, regional prices and the offer shown to your account can change the bill. For a percentage, divide the annual difference by the competitor's annual price and multiply by 100.

If you choose monthly billing, compare monthly with monthly. Twelve SeeMeCook payments of $2.99 total $35.88; twelve Samsung Food+ payments of $6.99 total $83.88. The difference is $48 over twelve paid months. Neither figure assumes a trial or promotion.

Put the lower bill to work in your kitchen

SeeMeCook imports supported TikTok, Instagram and YouTube cooking videos, recipe links and photos of paper recipes. Review the ingredients and steps, keep the dish in a Book, and open Cooking Mode when you want to make it. Cooking Mode keeps the screen awake, shows the ingredients for the current step and offers spoken instructions.

Pro adds unlimited imports, translation, pantry scanning, PDF/Markdown export and the other paid tools. If you do not need those yet, the free plan includes 100 recipe imports every week, Books, search, scaling and Cooking Mode. You can start with a recipe you already want to cook.

Keep one-time purchases out of the subscription math

Some recipe apps sell separate one-time platform licenses. Those purchases have a different cost over time from recurring subscriptions; they are outside the annual subscription savings shown here.

This table compares the named subscription offers. For free-plan limits, read our free recipe-app guide. If you are already using ReciMe, follow the switching checklist and keep your original recipes while you move them.
